Dr. Paul Steinke is a native of Wisconsin who joined the FAANT family of doctors in 2011 after completing a three year surgical residency specializing in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery in Madison, Wisconsin. He attended medical school in Illinois at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine after finishing his undergraduate degree at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
During his residency training, Dr. Steinke served as Chief Resident during both his second and third years of training. He also received specialized training in revision foot surgery, an area of podiatry that focuses on the repair of previous surgical complications, and to this day specializes in these difficult procedures. He also employs skin closure techniques during surgery that allows patients to have a cosmetic outcome in addition to the resolution of their painful symptoms.
He is board certified in Foot Surgery as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Steinke likes to stay active in his local community, and in 2014 he was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Fort Worth YMCA, as a member of the Northpark YMCA board, and has served as a committee and board chair. He also sits on the Credentialing Committee at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake.
In his free time, Dr. Steinke enjoys golfing, softball, woodworking, skeet shooting, camping, and most importantly spending time with his family. He is also currently training for his next marathon with a goal to qualify for Boston!
He has been married to his wife Carrie for 14 years and has been blessed with two beautiful children, Aiden and Brinley.
He looks forward to treating your foot and ankle problems and will administer the same quality care he would give to a member of his own family!
