We are continuously looking for ways to improve the quality of care we provide as well as helping you understand your diagnosis and treatment regimen.  At FAANT, we have built a state of the art facility hidden within a comfortable and relaxed environment.  With the changing digital world, we stay current with the latest in diagnostic tools and equipment like:

Electronic Medical Records
We have recently switched all of our medical charts to electronic medical records.  This means no more paper charts that can be misfiled causing wasted time before or during your visit.  Your information is placed inside your electronic file and can be accessed instantly at any time.  This also allows us to send reports to your primary care physician or any other referring physician often the same day you were seen.

Digital Xrays
Our digital xray system eliminates the old fashion film and places your xrays on a computer that can be viewed at any time.  This gives us the ability to manipulate the views allowing for better diagnosis of problems that would be missed with regular film xrays.  These xrays can easily be shared with referring doctors by placing them on a CD which can be viewed on any computer.

FootMaxxTM
Footmaxx Digital Dynamic Gait AnalysisWhen custom orthotics are needed, we utilize the FootMaxxTM system for digital gait analysis.  You will walk on our computerized mat which then transfers information into digital form of your feet and how they function in real life.  With this system, we can see areas of high pressure, over pronation, early heel lift and improper gait mechanics that may be causing your symptoms.  Your analysis and a prescription, completed by one of our doctors, are then sent electronically to an orthotics lab.

IStep
The iStep by Aetrex Worldwide is a groundbreaking advance in digital foot scanning technology. Using 1,024 barometric sensors and the patented Footwear Integration Technology, the iStep will capture your digital foot scan and identify all pressure points along with providing an accurate foot measurement. This state-of-the-art technology will also help select the ideal footwear and foot orthotics for your specific foot care needs.

PADnet LABTM
Peripheral arterial disease, or PAD, affects about 8 million Americans.  By age 65, 12 to 20 percent of the population has it. Diagnosis is critical, as people with PAD have a four to five times higher risk of heart attack or stroke.  If you have a history of diabetes, high blood pressure, tobacco use, heart disease, stroke or family history of poor circulation, it is important you have your lower extremity circulation tested on a regular basis to prevent such complications as slow healing wounds or amputation.  We offer non-invasive testing of your circulation in our office using the PADnet LABTM system.  Pressure cuffs will be placed on both legs at 4 points measuring the blood flow from your thighs to your toes.  The results are then read by a vascular surgeon, Dr. Jerry Light.  The American Diabetes Association urges all diabetic patients to be tested once a year for amputation prevention.
