JANET L. DIXON, ABC C. PED., BOC Pedorthist, Manager Healthy Steps

Janet Dixon is the manager of Healthy Steps DFW and a certified pedorthist including several capacities in the shoe industry encompassing shoe fitting and evaluations, store operations along with purchasing and management. Her medical background includes working as a paramedic along with certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and PALS. Janet is an active member in the Pedorthic Footwear Association as well as a current member of the Americal Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) including Board for Orthotist and Prostetist (BOC). 

Janet resides locally with her husband Dennis, daughter Claire, her yellow lab dog Mason, a full size collie named Murray and a couple of furry felines. In her free time, she enjoys running and continues to run full and half marathons. Janet is a member of the Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers and has coached the USA Fit beginner full and half marathon training programs.

Janet continues to service patients and customers of Healthy Steps focusing on each individuals therapeutic foot needs with products offered at Healthy Steps as well as working closely with local running stores to ensure that active patients and customers alike are properly fitted in the right running shoes.
