A good pair of orthotics can be extremely helpful to a patient suffering from foot pain. You likely have questions about how your insurance handles this and how long it may take for them to approve your new orthotics. Our Business Team is ready to answer your questions. If one of our doctors identifies a medical need for orthotics, we’ll contact your insurance company for you regarding your benefit level regarding custom inserts. We will provide them medical records to support our decision and if we cannot get a clear answer, we will request a written determination. This can take up to 4 weeks but we will keep you informed during the process. We’ll also provide you with an estimation of benefits before we even fit you for inserts. Feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
