Dr. Paul Steinke is a native of Wisconsin who joined the FAANT family of doctors in 2011 after completing a three year surgical residency specializing in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery in Madison, Wisconsin. He attended medical school in Illinois at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine after finishing his undergraduate degree at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

During his residency, Dr. Steinke served as Chief Resident in his final two years of training. He also received specialized training in revision foot and ankle surgery, an area of podiatry that focuses on the repair of previous surgical complications. To this day he specializes in these difficult revision procedures. He employs skin closure techniques during surgery that allows patients to have a cosmetic outcome in addition to the resolution of their painful symptoms.  He also employs the Lapiplasty 3D Bunion correction system in his practice, proven to reduce the risk of bunion recurrence after surgery, and allows his patients to walk immediately after surgery, something that classical bunion surgery does not allow.

He is board certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery and Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Steinke likes to stay active in his local community, and in 2014 he was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Fort Worth YMCA, as a member of the Northpark YMCA board, and has served as a committee and board chair. He currently sits on the Credentialing Committee at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake.

In 2017 and 2018 he was voted by his peers as a Top Doc in his community published in Southlake Style magazine, and in 2019 as a Top Doctor in Fort Worth Magazine.

In his free time, Dr. Steinke enjoys golfing, softball, woodworking, skeet shooting, camping, and most importantly spending time with his family. He is also currently training for his next marathon with a goal to qualify for Boston!  Dr. Steinke has been married to his wife Carrie for 15 years and has been blessed with two beautiful children, Aiden and Brinley.

What drives Dr. Steinke is his passion to educate his patients, administer them the best possible care, and ultimately seeing them return to the activities that they love.  He looks forward to seeing you, and treating you like he would treat a member of his own family.
